DIY Projects!

I've been on a re-modeling binge for my bedroom and been doing a ton of DIY projects to get organized so I thought I'd share! I'll post pictures of my bedroom and maybe a video tour just to show you guys what I did but for now, here are a few photos of some of the things I "made"!

My necklace and bracelet frame

So simple and so effective! I had this dinky cork board that I used to pin up pictures on, and just attached a pretty piece of wrapping paper on it as a background. Then, you just add pushpins! Voila! 

Earring Board

Same concept for dangly earrings. They have a ton of earring holders but I couldn't find any that could fit all my dangly earrings and still look cute. Half of this board is a white board so I can use to to write notes to myself and whatnot. Yay for simple, easy DIY!

Bangles Holder

This is probably still a work in progress. Bangles were harder to organize and put somewhere that I could easily see what I had. So, I found this box with samples of Nina Ricci perfumes my mom gave me a billion years ago and it fit my bangles perfectly! I might decorate the box with some cute paper or something but for now, this'll do.

Lipstick Organizer

So I totally stole this idea from Koren at EnKore Make-Up on YouTube. He has some GREAT DIY make-up organization videos that I plan to use in the future at my Hawaii apartment. This lipstick organizer is cute and practical. I just used some cute paper plates that we had at home! 

I hope these were helpful/interesting to you guys! I just thought it would be fun to share some things that I've been working on recently. I always love to see other people's rooms and what they do to organize - because that's something I'm terrible at. I'm a pack rat and on the brink of becoming a hoarder. Hopefully this re-organization/re-modeling will help me get rid of some junk that's taking over my room.
